Boo!

I decided over the weekend to start blogging here on WP instead of on Blogger. A couple of reasons prompted me to make this transfer. First WP is a Open Source project and was suggested to me as an alternative. The main reason for moving was so I could start to add categories to my blog, so that certain categories could be aggregated into a “Team Blog” on www.hullfloss.org.uk
I was impressed to see there is a facility to import from other blogs into WP. As it turns out this didn’t work due to my Blogger account being the beta version. A search on the support forum produced a couple of suggestions to resolve this, from “cut & paste” or alternatively a rather convoluted method. A quick feedback about this resulted in the following reply;

Hi,
Our blogger beta installer is not yet completed and full tested yet. You
could always start a blog here and import though at a later date?
My apologies though.

I think I shall wait for the built in importer to be resolved, before attempting other exotic importing methods.
